Rudy Duarte is a seasoned hospitality executive with over 30 years of experience driving hotel operations, portfolio growth, and investment partnerships across Canada. As President, Client Relations & Portfolio Growth at Prime Hotels Development, he connects investors and strategic partners to expand portfolios through acquisitions and new-build developments, guiding ownership groups in opportunity evaluation, financing, approvals, and brand alignment to maximize long-term asset performance.
Rudy’s expertise spans the full spectrum of hospitality assets—from select-service hotels to luxury full-service and convention properties. He has led large-scale operations, managed significant capital projects, improved guest satisfaction, and consistently optimized performance across a variety of market segments.
Throughout his career, Rudy has partnered with hotel owners, operators, and investors to identify high-potential acquisition and development opportunities in urban and regional markets. He has held senior leadership roles with Canada’s most recognized brands, including Fairmont, Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, and Choice, giving him a unique perspective on aligning operational strategy, brand positioning, and investment structure to market demand.
